Description
All my work in progress pictures (for people who enjoy looking at those) and my finished life-sized kingdom key keyblade!
Materials:Β
-Cardboard
-Wrapping paper tube roll
-SAT Book (tore up the pages for paper mache...LOL and to fill the inside of the tube roll to keep it sturdy)
-Duct Tape (a poor decision made because I had no masking tape...)
-Elmers Glue
-Water
-Acrylic Paints
-Electrical Tape
-Foam thingy for the chain

The key was made proportional to the ingame 3D model so in my opinion it turned out great!
Although...the paper mache created wrinkles (cause I'm a noob hahah)

Honestly, no matter how hardcore you get with trying not to show any wrinkles with paper mache, I've found it's very difficult to hide the layering. I had the same issue when I made my first keyblade. That being said, for the materials you used and the time you did put into this, it actually turned out really well and you should be proud of your accomplishment for making something at that scale distinguishable and to accurately access correct proportions alone. If you enjoyed making it, you can always continue to learn from here and try different things, too. It's a lot of fun making props, I think.
