Focal length 6mm I'm confused! Can you change the aperture on your camera? If yes you could try a smaller on! (higher F number) That could give you better contrast in the sky! And for the composition you should get rid of that roof because it is distracting the eye of the viewer away from the beautiful sky! Using the silhouettes of the trees was a very good idea!
So I hope you will not hate me for that comment but hey your father said you already do! So I don't have to worry any longer! Photography is a great hobby! And with good equipment you will have a lot of fun! Here on DA are a lot of young people with the same hobby! A lot of chat rooms!
