asuka langley soryu from neon genesis. watercolor paint on canvas. not terrible for never having used either watercolor paint or canvas before.i think the scale of her in relation to the robot is a little off, idk its been a long time since ive seen the show so i donk know how big the robots are
originally was supposed to be a companion piece to [link] as a gift for our japanese teacher, but was delayed by finals and couldnt finish in time

yeah, he had office hours today, and i tried to get it done before then, but wasnt able to. may see if i can meet up with him sometime.
how did you get all the face details right? i had trouble getting to look halfway good without reference lines

the grid helped me a lot...painting the right colors the right way was a bit of luck
