Well, I did this for the Design Your Own Nin at contest that happened earlier this year, but then I found out that you couldn't submit the same character twice in a row. So I've kept it, and here it is now for this round. Ignore the quick background. I can't change it anymore since the .psd file is corrupted. Stats are below. As a side note, Kashoku doesn't have a black panther companion (she did when I did this picture, but its changed). So, that panther in the background is actually the companion of one of her friends. She was borrowing him to train with, I guess.

Name: Kashoku Touei
Age: 15
Ranking: Sun Village Chuunin

History: Kashoku Touei grew up in a normal household with her mother and father. Both her parents are ninjas from the Hidden Sun Village, and they enrolled Touei in the ninja academy at age 11. Touei studied hard to become one of the best, and she visited the forest near the village to train so frequently that the animals grew accustomed to her. Now, they will often come to be with Touei when she is resting from her training, sometimes even accompanying her beyond the forest on her missions. Toumei developed a love and respect for nature, and will often get into arguments with her fellow classmates if she suspects them of harming the environment. Toumei graduated from the ninja academy at the top of her class because of her long hours training and late nights studying. She's developed a dislike for those who believe that only ninjas with an advanced bloodline or other such advantages can become the village's greatest shinobi, and thinks that relying only on what you've didn't earn yourself instead of working to become better is cheating. Touei has made it her goal to prove that an average person coming from an average family is capable of becomeing a top ninja. When she was promoted to chuunin level, Touei got her tattoos changed to honor the occasion. They are now slightly more intricate. If they have any other function besides to look interesting, Touei has yet to reveal it.

Likes: Nature in general (animals especially), training, relaxing in the forest, sunlight

Dislikes: People who think they're better because of their family line, her annoying little brother, being idle (as in, completely. Not even thinking), being stuck in the middle (happens often)

Jutsu Used: Touei, while still very good at ninjustu and taijutsu, excels at genjutsu. Butou Hikari (dancing light) is a technique where the ninja uses their mirror-like weapon to reflect chakra-laden light at the opponent in certain patterns, causing the opponent to become dazed and unable to perform any complicated manueavers. Touei used to use her mirror chain for this, but now she just uses her sword. Often, Touei will couple Butou Hikari with Shinkirou no jutsu (Mirage technique), as her opponents confused state allows her to manipulate light once more to make her opponent see a mirage that suits her purposes. This can also be used alone, it just isn't as strong.

Weapons used: While adept with the normal shuriken and kunai, Touei mainly uses her sword. The mirror chain she used to use became rather difficult to use in the forest, what with all the trees around. Its made of a mirror-like material, and is extremely reflective and rather light. A claw dangles from a chain on the hilt. Also, Toumei often uses tiger claws (not shown), gloves that sport three silver claws positioned between the knuckles, and she has two types of claws that can be used.

Future goals, dreams, and hopes: To become one of the villages best ANBU, get others to respect nature

Extra information: Since the previous year, Touei has become closer with the animals in the forest. Touei and the animals seem to understand each other perfectly, although there are the occasional times when there is an obvious miscommunication (especially when its something more complicated). Occasionally, one or two animals will accompany her on her missions and lend her their abilities. Since she was promoted to chuunin level, Touei decided to reach out a bit more, since her schedule of training and studying, almost always in the forest, had kept her rather secluded from her peers. She had friendly relations with most everyone, but it didn't go much beyond that. Now, though, she's found two people who she hangs around with more. Needless to say, their relationships with one another are a bit unusual, but that's alright.
