Just thought I'd try watercolors out...so when babysitting, I used the Roseart watercolors she had and painted this. I kinda like how it turned out. Except that the scanner gave it an interesting look. The background isn't painted. I used watercolor on a plain piece of blue construction paper, its just that the scanner added that stuff. So...yeah. Just thought I'd post this to let you know I'm alive. Working on Otakon stuff, so I don't have anything real new to post for now.Related content

Wow, you've done an excellent job in blending all the colours together to create something so beautiful and surreal. I really like the way you've contrasted the eye colour to the rest of the body. The fins are beautiful, and the way you've melded the body into the background is fantastic.

I think the background is neat, but I would have liked to seen the picture without it, the background distorts the traditional stuff a bit.
