ok this might sound stupid if and a big IF they was to find enough parts to bring that little unit back online could perry possibly copy her memories of the other little one that went sentient it wont be 100% that unit but it should be enough to jump start it on a path to becoming full sentient shouldnt it?

Maybe they could do that. But becoming sentient just just like a long of code. It takes years of slight modifications until it starts to take off

yes of course it wouldnt just happen all at once but having some of perry's code for sentience and then letting them figure the rest of it out . at the very least tho perry could then in theory become like a parent teaching her little one also it would give perry peace of mind knowing they helped another one like her become alive
