Trucks like these were workhorses in their day. But now, like their counterparts, their work is over. Somehow though, it does not seem like the truck is finished, there remains a sense of hope, for just as the horse has found a worthy place in our society as a means of joy and recreation, so too this ancient mount may one day also find his joy in restoration.

Tonight I was at a live concert with a small group of people in a private home. This was the first song that Kat Goldman sung and it reminded me so much of this truck, that I had to include the lyrics with this submission. I hope you enjoy them.
