Honeykit stumbled out of the nursery when she heard the warriors come back. They had gone out on a really important patrol today. As the little kit raced towards the camp entrance, she suddenly stopped. The air was tense. She knew that something was wrong, it had to be. As the warriors entered the camp, she immediately began to search for her parents. All the cats of the patrol passed by. She looked at them, no Gingerfur, no Frostcloud. When she was about to give up, the last warriors entered the clearing. Three warriors, dragging two limp bodies. The one on the right was silver, the other ginger. Honeykit's eyes grew wide. Gingerfur and Frostcloud were left at the middle of the clearing, cats gathered around them to pay their last respects. A she-cat brushed Honeykit's fur. 'They were really brave and fought well, but the mountain lion was too strong for them' she said. Honeykit didn't want to listen. The kit ran to her fathers side and then to her mothers. 'Wake up! Wake up!' her cries filled the clearing. She sank into her mothers bloody red fur and cried. As she did that, the stars reflected in Gingerfur's misty eyes and Honeykit felt how two warm pelts brushed her fur, just before two new stars appeared at silverpelt.

This is how Honeykit, my RapidClan kitteh, lost both of her parents. They died when their patrol bumped into a mountain lion. There was no other option then try to fight and lure the beast out of the territory, but this went wrong.
