Protected Light Utility Transport. reinforced with enough armor to protect from Small arms, heavy machine guns, grenades, and shell splinters the PLUT is designed to transport small groups, light cargo and perform basic daily duties the vehicle can mount a remotely operated rifle caliber minigun and an autofire capable 40mm RAM/Grenade launcher. This allows the vehicle to deal with ambushes, support infantry riding int he vehicle, or carry out very basic patrol and security duties in addition to supply liaison, transport roles.

Powered by a compact fusion bottle, and Magneto Hydrodynamic turbines the vehicle is capable of full flight, limited orbit to surface, and surface to orbit flight to increase its flexibility and utility to military forces such as marines, and Naval groups. Its flight speed is limited to brisk 150Kph, and a modest 1 Gee acceleration zero gravity environments. It is also limited to a day or two of independent operation due to limited storage space for breathing gases, water and food for the crew and passengers.

Completely enclosed the vehicle is dependant on high resolution optics, thermal imager, and low light cameras for vision, using small low resolution cameras in various locations serve as back up to the main optics and to give excellent all around vision.

external storage bins, and multiple integral storage compartments allow it to carry a good deal of equipment and supplies making it popular with most forces that are exclusively surviving on, and operating in the field on what their vehicles can carry.
