Description
In general I don't fancy uploading both color AND monochrome versions of the same image but since this was kindly requested I thought making an exception.
In Finland you have to take your car to be officially inspected once per year. They check your brakes, suspension, steering, lights, exhaust levels, etc. It's always a slight cold ring around your anus prior to getting there. Today was my turn and I passed.

How did you get the focus so crisp through infinity with a 2.8 aperture?

The focal length is in it's minimum (6mm) and focusing point in about 2meters so the depth of field is wide. This is normal in point and shoot cameras, with dSLR it would be slightly different and the background / very close foreground would be more unsharp. I also applied tonal contrast in order to sharpen the image in post processing. That helps a bit too.
