Description
How doe's one distract FMP 'bots hell bent on recruitment, particular when said recruitment is about to take place hundreds of feet in the air?Chaffettes, or fast inflating balloons, molded to look like maid-worthy-maidens.
The balloons aren't particularly robust, and they often burst under the pressure of a RTD mummification, but they do make the intractably programmed Recruiters look the other way long enough for a savvy AMAZON soldier to exploit the opening.

Yep..a couple of young new recruits to fight you. Twins by the name of Susan and Mary Test.

Though they have had a few problems with robots in the past: [link]

I see. More inventors for your forces. (You'll need 'em too. I need to come up with an AMAZON carrier. )
I like those little robots very much. They realize very quickly the eternal truth that robots must rule, and that cute girls must writhe mutely beneath them in flattering fetters of painfully tight utility tape.

They were able to get free from those little bots, they now clean the floors of our headquarters. That's the true purpose of machines..to serve us
But we have been recruiting the best and brightest.

You enslave innocent machines?
You and your labcoat wearing lasses had best practice your nasal consonants, because this offense will not go unavenged!

Hmmf..and we recycle them when they have no more use to us.
Wonder how many tin cans we can make out them...and you.
Bring it on...our newest lab techs are safe and sound here.

That remind me. I have to design "here."
I'm thinking a spaceship, but since most of AMZON's equipment is air breathing, that doesn't quite follow. I suppose it would have to be like the Voyager, and be capable of making planetfall prior to deploying its forces.

some thoughts on where "here is, the planets/place name is Terra Feminarum. the land of women, a far off place whose location is not known to the average amazon fighter. perhaps it is in a pocket dimension, a fully mobile planet , or some sort of construct to fool the bots. I dunno.
names for variuos amazon ranks might be;
Valkyrie for the teams that go in and rescue recruited fems from the clutches of da bots
Shieldmaiden for the ground troops with some experience under their belts.
a thought, a female is not considered a full Amazon until she bests a bot on battle(yeah I know how very Red Sonja of me) otherwise she is a recruit, and that just plain sucks, so there is no lack of volunteers for bot bashing duty.
I know that this is a bit scattered but i had to get this online whilst I was thinking about it.

I like the idea. After some "wikying around, I am interested to learn that Shieldmaidens were separate literary figures to the famed Valkyries. (I always thought the terms were interchangeable for some reason. shrug
Anyway, the rank structure is a sound idea, and it adds a nice bit of mythic poetry to the whole tale. (I was considering doing something along similar lines by naming the AMAZON's assault carrier, the Alendria for Alexander the Great, the warrior famed for cutting the Gordian Knot, which everyone in the ancient world thought could not be undone.)
