Just had an urge to finish/redo this earlier picture of AMAZON's most incorrigible war witch, Lieutenant Colonel Portia Pierce. Keen eyes will notice this is an homage to this famous poster , for the Clint Eastwood movie, The Outlaw Josie Wales.

One of the reasons I was inspired to do this picture today, is because I got a comment on an the strip in which Portia lassoed Janet , indicating that Portia used a grapnel gun, a'la Batman to reel in the callipygian cheng. The admitted pistol like weapons are actually Side Charms , special housings that allow witches to regulate and focus the dense magical energies, that have all but been depleted on Earth, but exist in dangerous concentrations in interstellar space. (At Portia's power level, an unshielded wand, would be like wielding a nuclear flame thrower.)

While I'm at it, let's do some more descriptions from other characters.

PRIN: "As a former educator, I can say with authority that Portia Pierce is the walking embodiment of everything that is wrong with secondary education. She is a narcissist bully, with the outward appearance of a cliquish mean girl. Her commitment to AMAZON seems painfully contingent upon her gaining fame and adulation for fighting the Fremps. I sometimes think it is my personal destiny to teach her that actions have consequences."

MIMI: "Everyone always talks about how brave Sergeant Major Wollingsworth is, but she doesn't ever go in, until Portia reconnoiters a Fremp stronghold, alone. As far as I can tell, the only thing that ever seems to frighten Portia is being emotionally vulnerable. Maybe one day she'll realize, she doesn't have to perform to gain acceptance. "

SHELLEY: "Being around her, takes me back to my acting days. I sometimes wonder it she's the resurrected soul of one of those old studio execs, that I would fund a trip to New Monaco, if I batted my eyes at them. One resource we will never run out of are suckers."
