Description
A Swan maneuvers violently as it lays down a curtain of Chaffettes to confuse any Seekers or FMP recruiters that happen to be looking skyward. You'll note the lack of camouflage paint on the SWAN. Since they are pitted against an enemy that can see in infra-red, AMAZON has for the most part abandoned countershading.
Since FMP forces do use camouflage to beguile their normal sighted opponents, easily identifiable color schemes have become a ready means for AMAZON forces to identify friend or foe.
Ironically, despite this sight advantage, FMP Recruiters and Seekers continue to be distracted by Chaffettes. (AMAZON military planners are beginning to suspect the FMP "recruitment aids" don't share the robust programming of their robotic makers.)

This is both hilarious, and awesome at the same time. Chafettes...

WOW, that is really cool. Like seriously, this is pro.
On an unrelated note, the stream of chaffettes behind the plain looks so strange that I actually laughed out loud

You know with all of these designs showing up on your gallery, you're eventually gonna have to show us actual bases at some point. If only to know just where the AMAZON forces get stowed before they're turned into Maid Drones for the FMP.
For that matter, what does Nomad use a sizable force that large for? And just how does he solve the logistical nightmare of feeding and taking care of all those POWs? So many questions!

Indeed. I am going to have to devise capital ships, transports, carriers, and bases for both sides.
It just keeps growing and growing. What I would give for a toy company deal.

Oh hell yes. I would love a Bondage Barbie. I'm also totally not saying this because her outfits and accessories would be a *perfect* fit for a certain fairy pest of mine. No! Of course not.
When they're that small, hardly anything fits them. ;3

Are there AMAZON carriers?

hahaa cool man, you been showing a lot of color delight. this is awesome.
a bit of nitpicking, but is those dolls inflate once they outside of the plain, or is there a hatch that opens up and drops them off?

we-r-nomad In reply to zarsh009 [2009-04-19 12:23:36 +0000 UTC]
They inflate outside the plane.
The Chaffettes are ejected from pods where the wings and the tails meet an either side of the vehicle. I drew geysers of smoke to signify where they're ejected from.
I suppose I also should have drawn an intermediate form of the Chaffettes to better portray them inflating.

I just assumed.
Afterall, the thought of you prevailing against FMP is just too absurd to take seriously.
But it's okay even if you are serious. FMP is building new chambers everyday.

LOL personally I doubt very much that that is possible.
It's like an arms race, and I'm sure each time you come up with something the FMP is ready to respond...
But if you and the AMAZONs are willing to try I'm sure there'll be plenty of opportunity to learn all about them and their culture

if it was simply nomad you'd be right about them not having much of a chance....but the C.A.T. suit power armor is actually a design I gave him for the amazons....didn't expect him to like it as much as he did, though i am pleased
even have a new model ready for the next round......

Night-Miner In reply to ColeTyger [2009-04-19 07:09:13 +0000 UTC]
lol well of course they've got a new model C.A.T suit, and I'm sure the FMP will adapt to that fast too; it's a 'binding race'.
With the FMP trying to tie the AMAZONs, and the AMAZONs trying to keep themselves free and untie others.
Certainly true that the AMAZONs have got some creative supporters, but still think the edge is clearly in the FMP's quarter.

NICE design! Is it inspired by the recent pictures of the Predator C Avenger? Even if not, very robust design, those are definitely not typical airfoils. VERy nicely done! That thing looks The Business.
Chaffettes... somehow, that's just so darn appropriate.
*peers closer* Is that... a *catgirl* pilot?

we-r-nomad In reply to Caraig [2009-04-19 05:26:19 +0000 UTC]
Sorry, I had to check out Wikipedia to understand what you were referring to concerning the Avenger.
This isn't based on a Predator C. I think you'll see the Swan has a slightly different profile in the other views I have of it in my gallery. However, since both have center-line, top-side air intakes, I can certainly see where this particular view would bring the Predator C to mind.
Yes, those are cat ears molded into the pilot's helmet. In case she has to punch out, she has on a lightly armored, limited flight-capable version of AMAZON powered armor, also know as a CAT suit.
(I'll feature it later, once I figure what the bloody thing looks like from the neck down.)

Oops, sorry; I need to rein in the miligeekness some days. ^_^ Now that you mention the other pictures in the gallery, I now see what you mean about the Swan.
And thanks for the information about the *sniggle* CATsuit. (Sorry, sorry! The pervy-mind is working overtime!) You are having way too much fun with this, please don't stop.

we-r-nomad In reply to Caraig [2009-04-19 06:07:07 +0000 UTC]
No worries. A good dose of miligeekiness is very helpful from time to time.
While I am satisfied with the Swan, I am looking to rework the Mongoose. The Predator with it's long straight wings meant for loitering over a target may be a good thing to look to for design cues.
Since it also has a topside intake, I could make that into a design theme with AMAZON aircraft.
And their's no such thing as too much fun. particularly where CATsuits are involved.

probably; that seems to be the only practical method for mass deployment of baloons of any shape or size. except water baloons, because they aren't filled with air. i've used remote control airplanes loaded with water ballons to dive bomb people before.
