This piece of art is amazing I love how it looks so realistic, like it pops out right in front of you. The details put into this are amazing, most people would have just done a static version of this but you put your time a effort to make it look amazingly animated. I love the detail of the emote and the fire I also love the smoke it's just looks so real and the lava that is on the side of him like he is in a cave.
All together I say wonderful job just amazing piece of art! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c… " width="20" height="20" alt="

This piece has elevated emoticon art to a new level. the details are fantastic, and the details are absolutely flawless. The, for lack of a better term, ragged edge of the animation adds significantly to the overall effect of the piece by drawing the viewers eye into the center of the piece. Something really striking about this is the amount of depth in the picture; most emoticon pictures I have seen are distinctly two dimensional, in this the dimensions of the forge are well defined and it looks as though the room where the emote is forging the sword is larger than the frame of it that we see.
Another artistic note is the color scheme, doing the entire piece in oranges, reds, and blacks adds to the overall affect of it by making it eye catching and interesting to explore. This is a fantastic piece.

The details are INCREDIBLE and there are so many animations happening at once and so smoothly too. The flames are flickering and growing with strength then dimming down and the melted metal is pouring and bubbling. I never knew smoke could be done so flawlessly and so detailed in such a small canvas. Unfortunately, the only thing that throws it is that I cannot identify the item at the top left. The rugged border is like you are peering through the entrance and he's in a deep cavern or basement somewhere. The atmosphere is just pulled together flawlessly and the emoticon's stressed / unhappy expression as he hammers away tops it all for for me.

I'm giving Full Start to all rating for a reason that for me this is the most awesome emoticons that I'd ever seen in deviantart ever since I'd joined. The details from the background up to the tiniest details like the movements of the fire, to the coals on the chimney up to the little blacksmith with his hammer and very well made, not to mention the borders are even adding up more impact on the overall appeal of the emoticon. When I fist saw this, all I just say was "Wow! This is probably the most amazing thing that I had ever seen in my life."
But if I'm going to be a perfectionist, I would say that you add up more details like adding up more swords and axes on the background so that there would be more blacksmithy appeal on it since from what I see, there are only 2 swords on the background and most blacksmiths that I see in movies and animes has dozens of it.

Thanks for your critique!
Maybe he sold all the weapons, so there were only two swords
I can add the more swords, shields and axes on the background
Is it worth trying?

It's still up to you if you want to. It's actually fine to me now, that part was for the purpose of adding more blacksmithy feeling on the piece, but it is absolutely fine to what it is now.
And why is it that it can't be use to our pages? Why?

I have got to say, while i was looking though my inbox and i saw this, the only word that came out of my mouth was "wow".
Many emoticonists would've made this static, but i love the way how you took a stop forward and added smooth animation. Especially the hammer. I love how once the hammer pounds on the metal there are mini pixel sparks flying everywhere e.deviantart.net/emoticons/g/g… " width="17" height="15" alt="
" title="Giggle"/>
Your color pallet is absolutely amazing. No words can describe how well you pixel. e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l… " width="26" height="17" alt="
" title="Love"/> However, I cannot tell what the oval shaped space on the left hand corner is. Other than that, with the realistic looking smoke, and the burning fire, it looks like this little blacksmith has a lot to do!
In my opinion, this deserves a DD e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l… " width="15" height="15" alt="

I really love this, my favorite emoticon piece so far e.deviantart.net/emoticons/h/h… " width="15" height="13" alt="

I give you full Stars as i love it. The Emotion of the Little guy is sad almost like he Doesn't like his job the Background is AMAZING and the way of the smoke and fire and molten lava is just again Amazing. the Texture is great. And it looks like a flag (the shape of the whole picture) in the background is a sword. i must say in overall its just to Amazing if you ask me. And if you ever did a remake of this have a little other emote have a little one next to him showing the little one how to make a sword and make the Big one happy

this is great. i like how it's not a square background and really shows the earthly aspect of this.
only one thing. the animation of the hammering is awesome but the timing is a little off to me. i think the hammering down part should be faster than the retracting.
every other animation, however is just amazing
