Alyssa Millis-Spindlebee (alt. Title: The Masked Maiden)

Age: 17/18 years old

Occupation: Town Defender, Supernatural Spy/Stealth Agent, Class Representative (Original Universe/Timeline), Sarun Guardsman (As of current), Secret Agent, Sorceress/Warrior (in general)

Bio(current): the true identity of "Hopper", the newest recruit to the Sarun Guard--Taking on the alias and identity in order to pursue [REDACTED], Alyssa cast away the identity after a berserk, feral Radar compromised the spell that held it together and when much more urgent matters began to happen in Sarun. A master over Illusions and a famed vigilante, Alyssa is here to undo what went wrong in her universe and to stop the multidimensional destruction and dissipation of Sarun and all other timelines and dimensions at the hands of [REDACTED], and she's going to help Webs, Ursus and Corax towards that goal. At current, she's also trying to assist in stopping and tranquilizing a berserk Radar.

Bio/Backstory (In her Original Universe): Alyssa was born to [REDACTED] Millis and [REDACTED] Spindlebee, and was born with a defect in her heart that seemed to guarantee that she would not live long. Despite this, she refused to be sheltered as she grew up, and with her particular skill in magic powers, she was taken into Rosewood academy, an Academy that helped similar Supernatural and Magical Cases, and secretly was the base of operations of a supernatural agency dedicated to upholding the peace. It was the training and her choice of concealing her identity from her father that earned her the title "The Masked Maiden" by those who observed her in action, becoming a vigilante that defended her city from danger and help keep the peace. While amongst the more "Popular" cliques in her school, she was always open, friendly and welcoming to everyone when she wasn't on the clock. It's this open hearted and confident quirk of hers that led her into meeting her boyfriend, Ezekial "Alto" Kestrel on a hasty retreat back home after a mission. First becoming best friends and it rising above those feelings overtime, Alyssa loves Alto greatly and interacted with him whenever they could get the chance to be together. She was content, and happy with how things turned out. Then things took a turn for the worst when she came in conflict with [REDACTED]--first, her home and academy was suddenly destroyed in an attack, taking out her family and peers in the collapse. Then her remaining friends were targeted and taken out by [REDACTED] when they attempted an ambush. It ended up ultimately culminating to Alto's death and the death of many civilians within a music concert hall, before her world began to break apart and disappear. She and Shauri made the leap to Sarun to chase after [REDACTED] and stop them before more universes and timelines suffer the same fate due to whatever plan they have in store, as well as undo the damage by stopping them once and for all.


Shauri (alt. Title: Daughter Fate)

Occupation: Familiar, Fate Spirit, Sorceress of Illusions, Fate Weaver (in general)

Bio: This isn't Shauri's first time in Sarun, but it promises to be her most wildest. Once here to help stop the release and resurrection of a Rogue and Corrupted Fate Spirit that made up the majority of Arkhein, she is here to stop the unbinding of reality and existence of Sarun by [REDACTED], and had brought Alyssa in order to undo what went wrong for her chosen host and bring her world back along the way.

Backstory: Shauri, The First Daughter of Father Fate himself, has always worked and lived, for centuries upon centuries, alone, awaiting the day where she would eventually succeed her father as the Heir to his position. That all changed when she met a baby that, due to a Heart Defect, was to die after a day. Taking pity, she gave the child a longer lifespan and inadvertently binded herself to the baby, becoming the child's familiar and starting a longtime friendship she had never expected to find. Such is how the story goes of how Daughter Fate became the Masked Maiden's Familiar. Shauri tends to still work independently from Alyssa whenever Alyssa doesn't need her, and while her Human form takes on the likeness of Alyssa, she'll try to keep her connections close to the vest to avoid anyone taking advantage of her. Overseeing the existence of Sarun and finding the Fate Spirit turned Rogue Enemy known as Arkhein taking form and strength from an overpossession of a human-turned-sorcerer being sealed there, she had taken up the alias and occupation as a Barkeep to keep an eye on the situation and aid whenever it was needed whenever Arkhein would once again be freed and rampant. The second visit is on more dire straights, as someone is beginning to alter, change and fray the very fabric of existence/reality and sever many of the strings of fate that hold it in place, and in doing so is making worlds, timelines, universes and Fate Spirits disappear. To what goal, she cannot discern or tell (which terrifies her), but she knows that [REDACTED] is behind it all, and plans to try and stop them before they reach said goal.

Personality:

Alyssa: while having a serious and cool looking first impression, Alyssa is no better than her Father and Uncle--she's very friendly and fun to be around when she gets to know you, and very responsible, mature and quick to act over all. She also can be described as being a bit gadfly-ish, messing with people to get a feel of what they're like if she can't tell in a proper introduction. She's very supportive and warm hearted, and is quite clever. After what happened, she seems a lot more weary and cold, but it hasn't changed how she acts around people completely. Wanting to live her life to the fullest, there isn't much that can dissuade her from something other than common sense.

Shauri: A bit sarcastic and blunt honest to go with her reserved nature, Shauri tends to come across as no nonsense, but she herself isn't above it all, it's just her moments of mischief and fun making are rare and far in between. Persuasive and cunning, Shauri tends to focus on the tasks at hand, and is fiercely loyal to Alyssa. While she attacks with great strength, it takes hurting Alyssa or her fellow Fate Spirits greatly to make her fly in a rage and attack like a wild animal.

Weapons/Abilities:

Alyssa:
-Magic: naturally, with her main forte being based on creating magical illusions using Gray/Fate Energy.
-Voice Mimicry: she can mimic anyone's voice if she so chooses, after hearing it of course. She's been practicing this skill for a while.
-Knives: she's very skilled with Knives, especially with her Butterfly Knives.
-Sword: she has an old sword that was a hand me down from her family, one she uses with her knowledge of sword play to her full advantage. While she can choose to enchant the sword or imbue it with magic, she often doesn't.
-Agile: very quick, flexible and a fast evader.
-Master of Disguise: with her powers and extensive knowledge of espionage, she can easily hide herself in plain sight when need be.
-Seduction: she'll put her good looks and best persuasive charms to good use when needed.

Shauri:
-Gray/Fate Energy: The type of Magic Shauri and All Fate Spirits are attributed to. With this energy, she can alter perceptions, start circumstances and manipulate events in any moment to use to her advantage.
-Shapeshifting: she can make herself smaller, she can make herself larger, she can change her shape and form to whatever fits the need. Her only limit is in the reserves if her magic.
-Illusions: like Alyssa, she can cast magical Illusions over anyone and anything.
-Persuasion: is very persuasive, a charming speaker and an effective diplomat.
-Mind Screw: Alternatively, she can inflict any sort of mental magic on people if it comes down to it being necessary. It also makes her immune to such magic and mind tricks.
-Prescience/Oracle: par for the course for a Fate Spirit. She can see all possible future outcomes and events and what can be taken to prevent or change one path into another outcome.

Weaknesses:

Alyssa:
-Alyssa is very Claustrophobic, she'll begin to shut down in panic if she's trapped in a tight, closed and dark space with no way out.
-her endurance is particularly weak.
-Her Heart is the most vulnerable weak spot. Hit her hard enough in the chest to disrupt the beating of her heart, and she'll begin to suffer from a heart attack. Force something into her major arteries and she'll begin feeling the effects much, much faster. She wears thick enough armor/cloth around her chest to try and prevent this situation in combat.
-pressing her buttons by saying insults about those she loves and cares about makes her a lot more angrier and a lot less rational in thinking and less perceptive in sight.
-brute forcing through her illusions can compromise them as she can't keep her concentration on them forever.

Shauri:
-Cold Bronze tends to be a weakness for Fate Spirits. She has a slight tolerance to it, keyword being slight.
-Creatures and higher entities that can cloud or outright block her prescience/oracle ability. It says something about their strength, because if they can and will block it, it will terrify her.
-if a world begins running out of Magic energy or people, she'll begin losing power, which limits her abilities greatly in that regard.
-Alyssa can be taken advantage of to force Shauri into yielding or complying with a demand. Good luck actually trying to capture or restrain the former, though.


Both are usually found: together, with Dice or with Radar, or with Noni, Corax, and Ursus.
