Description Four years in... and its not less than a week since some dope gave me a bitchfit about how I most certainly shouldn't be drawing this joker. I guess that someone has yet to learn his or her lesson.

The following is my justification for drawing this - and failing to read it means I get to poke fun at you when come with your rage-filled comments.

I am fully aware if muslim doctrine not to allow any imagery what so ever of the prophet. However, I am a citizen in a non-muslim country, raised on ethical values derived from western mythos and nordic tradition. I am as such NOT BOUND by muslim law or dogma, to which I am fully allowed to draw whatever muslim prophet I so may please.

Forcing me to obey foreign laws or dogma at the threat of violence is in most places considered either an act of war or terrorism... think about that for a moment.

I have drawn here the prophet muhammed about to burn a quran. big deal? its just pixels. Heck, a while ago a guy on the internet put half a million copies of the Quran on a harddrive and smashed the harddrive! Is that offensive? Consider: In the past, books were hard to make and took a long time to copy. Burning books before the advent of the printing press representing true destruction of knowlegde. Today, it means nothing. So again, as with the first drawing of the prophet I made, I make this point out how silly it is to be upset - today - over people burning books. Sure, it has a symbolic meaning, but so does assembling an angry mob and killing people.

The day that all muslims learn to accept that others will act as other do, for they are not muslim, and thus do not follow the teaching of islam, the day they just shrug and do not take offense, that is the day I will dance the futterwacken, and be joyous, for that is the day the adherents of islam have matured.

Short version: if you're a muslim, even if offended by this, and you choose to ignore this - then I will be happy. If you give me angry comments, you reinforce the idea that muslims that cannot accept non-muslims doing things that muslims aren't supposed to do.

You know, not to be rude, but please, for the islamic population of DA, please remove this pic. The pictures of our prophet and the other important figures is strictly forbidden so we wouldn't judge them by their looks and this pic of yours is making me judge the guy a LOT! FYI i'm pretty sure his beard wasnt't THAt color. Please reconsider. And REMOVE THIS PIC!!!!

Is forbidden where? Not in my country. So please respect the laws that I live by, before trying to force me to conform to how you live your life.

...I don't go around ranting that anyone who forsakes bacon should be force-fed it?
