Mijn hele tuin is rommelig.

Thanks! I was so surprized seeing this butterfly this time of the year.
It still isn't autumn yet. Only two or three windy days. Sometime its raining.
But most of the time you can go out just wearing a sweater! And lots of flowers in people's gardens are still blooming! It's been such a different year! Hottest summer month ever, wettest summer month ever, and now this wonderful and warm autumn. I wonder what winter will bring us!!

I was chasing butterflies around our garden yesterday, but they were just the white cabbage butterflies. Jim says he's seen other kinds, but they weren't in evidence. I got lucky and found a dragonfly, I haven't seen one of those for years

You bet I did They are for an audio visual I'm making. The new Frankland community Centre is now open and we have a lovely big screen in one of the rooms, so I thought a programme showing the beauty of Frankland, including insects and flowers, would be something that can be shown to tourists.

Did you finish the audio visual?
Are you ready for the wedding????

AdamsWife In reply to webworm [2006-12-03 23:31:55 +0000 UTC]

There has been too much going on in my life right now to work on the audio-visual. The last time I worked on it, I was trying to find suitable music. I wont be able to do anything more to that untill about february, as I will be coming back up to Perth mid january to spend a week with my daughter. That is if mum is ok to be left with Jim.

Jim has his clothes for the wedding, I have something, but i'll keep looking in Perth shops in case I find something I like better. Charlie is booked into a kennel. He wont like that at all.

webworm In reply to AdamsWife [2006-12-04 00:00:06 +0000 UTC]

I understand that the audio-visual can wait until february.
The wedding really is a very 'time-taking' project for you! So many things to be done before, during and after the wedding! I hope your mum will be allright these weeks, so that you don't have to worry about her.
Last weekend I did a photo-shoot with two young people, they wanted to have pictures to give to their parents for Christmas. And I was very nervous. Used all kinds of lamps. And this 'project' was nothing compared to your wedding!!! But you're a so much better photographer so I'm sure you will do a wonderful job!!!
Is this the first time Charlie is going into a kennel? Ah well, he's got no choice. And it's only for a couple of days. He will surfive!!

Mum will be going into a Silver Chain lodge in Albany for two weeks starting 27th December. It is close to the beach and she will have 24 hour care there. I wont have to worry about her during the wedding. There is always something going on at the lodge and they are taken out for day trips, so if she is bored, it will be her own fault. I have to phone them when I get home and tell them that Mums arm will still be in plaster and she will need more help than I put down on the application form.

Portrait photography isn't my favourite subject either. Give me animals and flowers any day.

So good your mom can go to the Silver Chain lodge in Albany! Did she want to go there? Couple of months ago you told me she might not want to go there.
But to me it sounds great. Like a winter's holiday!

AdamsWife In reply to webworm [2006-12-14 21:04:00 +0000 UTC]

Oh yes, she's always been happy about going to the lodge in Albany. It was probably Overton where Dad is that she wouldn't want to spend two weeks. At the lodge in Albany they do so many things to keep the patients occupied and they have bus trips a couple of times a week. We took her there several weeks ago and they showed her around the whole place. At Overton, it's a nice place and nice people, but the people there sit and watch television mostly.

webworm In reply to AdamsWife [2006-12-14 21:44:08 +0000 UTC]

Overton wouldn't be good for her, watching television all day is for old people, but not for your mom. She is too active for that! Bus trips a couple of times a week? Sounds great!!! Hope for her that she will be able to make some trips when she isn't in pain that much. After this 'holiday' there will be alot to talk about with you.
