Ik ga heel graag naar dierentuinen en naar vlindertuinen!
Als de vlindertuin in de botanische tuin in Utrecht weer open is ga ik er weer naartoe met
mijn camera!

Wat voor een camera heb je? Ik had de laatste keer mn telelens meegenomen, maar
die vlinders waren best snel en die foto's zijn bijna allemaal mislukt. Nu heb ik ook een
macrolens, dus ik hoop dat dat beter gaat.

Dat is geloof ik geen spiegelreflex als ik het goed heb. Ik heb altijd de Canon IXUS 85 IS in mijn tas als ik de deur uit ga.
Je weet maar nooit! En dan is het lastig om een grote camera mee te sjouwen. Die neem ik alleen mee als ik van tevoren weet dat ik foto's ga maken.

Ja, ik zou beide camera's niet willen missen.
Dat leer je spelenderwijs. Ik lees nooit gebruiksaanwijzingen,
begin met op de automatische stand te fotograferen en dan
langzaamaan experimenteren met de andere instellingen.
Nu stel ik alles handmatig in.

Ik ben helemaal niet technisch ingesteld, dus weet achteraf niet meer welk diafragma ik gebruikt heb, maar
ik denk wel dat ik weet welke instellingen ik moet kiezen. Op de fotoclub waar ik op zit zijn een paar mannen
die daar moeite mee hebben. Maar daartegenover staat dat zij vaag zo technisch bezig zijn, dat ze vergeten
dat een foto ook een bepaald gevoel moet uitstralen.

Precies: een foto maak je met je hart! Met je hoofd bepaal je hoe die eruit gaat zien!

En ik zie het nut er ook niet van in om al die technische instellingen te onthouden.

I love to live close to my children too. I'm lucky, they both still live in the same town where we live and where they were born.

I envy you Rettie. We want to see them every week end, but distance minimises that and we long to be nearer. More of my family are moving there also. It seems like all New Yorkers ultimately move to Florida. We purchased land there this year and have one foot there, so to speak.
