When I first saw her (doing my shoppings in town) I thought I would like to take pictures of her, but didn't have the guts to ask her parents. Second time I saw her (within 1 hour), I told myself to ask them when I would meet her the third time! Guess what: there they were! Now I had to go to them and ask. And so I did! The said yes, and the girl, Celine, loved the idea to be a model!
As you can see I don't have to regret it. She really was a perfect model. I asked her parents to come with her. And they liked to see their daughter posing for me.

Must admit something... I lost their telephone number and they're not in the telephonebook!!
I feel very bad about it. They are living in another village, I know which one, so I will try and find them via some schools (if they give that information)

Ze heeft prachtige ogen en een hele mooie oogopslag.
Dat viel me meteen op toen ik haar in het dorp zag lopen.
Nadat ik moed verzameld had heb ik de derde keer dat
ik het gezin zag lopen, aan de ouders gevraagd of ik een
keer een fotoserie van haar mocht maken. Met de ouders
erbij natuurlijk. Ze reageerden meteen enthousiast en
het meisje vond het heel leuk!

Je hebt echt schitterende foto's gemaakt. Daar zullen de ouders ook wel blij mee zijn.
Ja soms valt je oog op iemand en dan wil je daar foto's van maken, en dat laat je dan niet meer los. Zeker niet als je ze steeds weer tegen komt.
Ik vind het knap dat je het durfde te vragen, het is dan des te leuker als ze zo enthousiast zijn. Het leuke van jonge kinderen is dat ze zo natuurlijk poseren en over komen.

Ik heb wel eens vaker gehad dat ik dacht: van die persoon zou ik wel eens foto's willen maken, maar dat durfde ik nooit te vragen. Lastig om ze aan te spreken. Misschien omdat ik in het Oosten ben opgegroeid dat ik het bij deze mensen durfde te vragen. De stap was in ieder geval niet zo groot, bleek nu.

Ja, precies dat heb ik ook altijd. Ik durf dat ook nooit te vragen.
Ja misschien was de drempel daarom wel wat lager nu. Het is ook heel prettig dat ze zo leuk reageerden. Nu zul je het de volgende keer wat makkelijker vragen.
