I recently got into watching "The Storyteller" ([link] ) and I heard one German fairy tale called the Three Ravens. In it, a witch wants to claim a kingdom's throne and so she turns the King's three sons into ravens, who can only be turned back if their sister stays silent for three years, three months, and three days.

It inspired me.

I also wanted to play with lines and making everything look... organic. I wanted the princess's dress to look as if it was grown, not made, and the as if the ravens were made of wood (failed a bit on that part, haha )
