I'm not entirely sure myself- this kind of broadsided me and I just scribbled what wanted to come down, especially when it came to the hands. But think about it- Winnowill's got this fascinated look, but her fingers are just intertwined with Timmorn's. I'm sure her willingness to be in close contact with this utterly alien, *changed* Rootless One varies from time to time.

I want to do that myself (I've certainly got the steamy bits down) but I don't feel like I know enough of Timmorn's or early!Winnowill's personality to really know what they'd do.
