"Queen Sarah as normal was riding shotgun, restored to her normal silk and bustled self, but with a rather strange metallic contraption cradled in her arms that most peoples, wherever they are in the universe, would recognise as a gun of some sort.“What’s that?” enquired Jhedron.
“It’s a gun of some sort,” Sarah replied with a smile."

This is stunning work! You did an excellent job crafting this. It's incredibly elegant. I love the green cord running the length and wrapped around the barrel, as well as the yellow cords extending from the bottom. The grip is gorgeous, and I love the the trigger can actually be depressed so it doesn't "feel" quite so much like a prop.
I think my favorite part though is the sight / scope. The way you established that with the telescope and then the wire work leading to the forward part of the sight is wonderfully done. The intricate wire work all along the barrel is exquisite.
This is something I would expect to see in a high fantasy. Thank you so much for sharing it!

Main ingredients are: An Oxygen/Acetylene welding handle, a tyre-pressure checkamabob thingy and a drawer knob! ^_^

amazing what you can do with draw knobs XD there are some perspex door handles at work that would work so well for a steampunk gun.. just wish I had the rest of it! oh! are the cables scooby?
