So, the Bride sword is coming together AT LAST.I have been struggling with the last few bits and decided the person who will assemble them all and do the handle get to do the fastening of the last seppa and sleeve.
I have ruined about 10 miniature gold leaf bits, three small silver sleeves and almost managed to melt the whole thing.
I can't believe it's finished. I am really proud over all these little bits and can't wait to see the finished item!
Heading over first weekend of August 2010 to deliver the small bits to the handlemaker.

This is so perfectly executed, well done, are these little guys going to be for sale? If so, how much are they going to be, where can I find them, when can I find one, and how do I go about obtaining one once I do?

Thank you so much! It was a lot of work and I learned a lot - not all in the good way but had to redo a couple of steps due to melting accidents.
