Description Step by step (pretty much) how a ring with "lining and flanking rings" looks. I have no idea what this model is called. Anyone?

Basically, you make four rings and get paid for one.

Box ring, eh? Got any information on those? Sounds interesting, but all I get up when I google are boxes and boxing rings XD

it's the way the ring's made.
1 solder a hollow cylinder of whatever metal
2 solder that to a a square of metal
3 solder a smaller ring inside the cylinder
4 solder another plate onto the other side.

instead of casting a solid ring, you make one that's hollow - you mixed the steps up a bit, but it's the same basic formula.

Thank you very much. I am taking some silver smithing classes and I love it. I drool over the mokume and haven't attempted working with it yet. This gives me a little push. The ring is beautiful.

Thank you so much! They can be a bit tricky to figure out but as with everything, once you know how it's done, it's easy!

Ah...thank you! That makes so much sense when seen from this view. I wish the school I went to laid out more complex stuff like this. <3 Keep the skill alive.
