everybody lives!AU, the house of Elrond journeys to Erebor for Thorin’s coronation:
Glorfindel has (of course…) been there before and weirds the Company out by being more familiar with their home than they are. (I imagine this is a big problem for Gondorians too lol.) Thorin finds him one day high above the main marketplace, just watching the hubbub, and joins him for a time.
