It tends to feed back on itself...._____
The original photo was overexposed to get the wall in the foreground completely white. Then in post production the image was grayscaled, a separate layer was used to darken up the background, contrast was increased, a cropped and resized duplicate of the image was placed where there used to be door in the far background to create the repetitve effect (twice). Then the image was invereted and duo-toned.

this is one of the better darkroom pieces i have seen.
This is very well executed, and I love the surreal quality to it. You can stare at this for a long time and explore the piece. Not many pieces can keep your attention like this does for me.
I am faving this, which is not something I do a lot.

Interesting idea - the combination of the "normal" shot and the over-exposed/inverted image make this have an eerie quality - something's out of place here, but it doesn't leap out at you: it is more subtle than that. Superb.

You have great skills in photography and manipulation, this is an excellent picture. It looks alot like those escher drawings, with the colours, also how one part of the door is forward and the second slightly backwards, and how this corridor never seems to end. I like the staircase too, I can't keep my eyes of it hehe, it blends in with the wall and looks ghostly or unreal. The lighting is excellent too. This is definitely a
