Description One of my favorite photos that I've taken in awhile. It just kind of makes me happy. The title is a reference to a Rush song, "Digital Man."

Yerba Buena Center for the Arts.

The science of a day, to build itself from small briks and large reflecting surfaces. The small pieces, so we can take it one step at a time while we are down on earth and the reflecting surface so we can glide our way back to earth from the sky.
Maybe a cicle of life. Maybe just the construction scheme Day has to follow.
I love the photos cold tones just because they seam to have found a way to suggest warmness.
CONGRATS!

Perfect capture!

Just out of curiousity, what are some of your favourite lenses for your Pentax, old and new. There's a 135mm f/2.8 star lens on Ebay that I want, but it's something like $1,300... *drool*

I don't have anything really exotic. I like the versatility of the 16-45 DA as nice wide angle zoom. I've got the 90mm Tamron macro which I really like, save for the minor downside of the lack of a really nice optical coating. My fav is my SMC-A 50mm 2.0, and I recently picked up a cheap 28mm Vivitar,
mostly because I can't use the 16-45 for infrared photography because of a large hot spot (saw it for $25 in the bargin bin, thought why not?) I've got a couple of other older zooms, but they're pretty crappy and I never use them.

What I'd really like to get is that 40mm pancake lens...when I want to travel light I'll put on the 50mm and just put the camera in a coat pocket, but it'd be nice to have a lens a little more compact and with autofocus. But it's a bit pricey to be able to justify it for a convenience issue...

I have the older manual focus 40mm panckacke. It's a beautiful lens. I use it for street photos mostly. It's a bit easier to point shoot because of the slightly wider then normal angle and also has a bit more depth of field for the same reason. I wouldn't get the autofocus one simply because I use hyperfocal... focusing... or however you would say that, a lot. I also have (borrowed from my work) a Ricoh 50mm f/1.2. It makes a great portrait lens but even stopped down it's not sharp enough for much else. My other 2 lenses are the 18-55 and the 70-200 DA's that came with the camera. Both are surprisingly decent for kit lenses, but nothing special.

The lenses I really want are the 300mm f/4 star lens and a good 100/135ish lens, a good wide angle (18-20-28mm), and a good macro with some bellows
