like everyone else says the katana and scythe merging is awesome! but i dont think that anima studios can copyright arkantos since Microsoft and Ensemble Studios thought of the name first for the game Age of Mythology. idk if anyone said that b4 but im not gna bother looking through nine pages just to check. anyway il have to say again awesome artwork!

Without a dought this is good, it would certainly catch my eye if i saw it on a shelf.

Now for constructive critisim.
As much as i like it, i think it could be improved. The thing that probably bugs me the most is that composition (while effective) feels a little bit cliched. What i mean is that it seems some what unoriginal, like i have seen this before on a number of other pieces. The other thing that bugs me is that i don't feel as though the man has engaged the audience as well as he could. I'm fairly inexperienced compared to most people but i think that he could engage the audience a bit more if we could see his pupil(s) looking directly at us. If he doesn't have any then another way could be to make the eyes either a brighter colour or glowing.
Overall, i do like the level of detail that you have put into it and your use of colour.
I have also seen your character designs, very nice.
