I will be attending Fanime con on the 28th of this month, in San Jose, California.I will be there all weekend and will be appearing in the panel on sunday, 1 pm, please check the program guide when you get it at fanime for more information such as the room we will have the panel in =]
I will not be selling any prints or commission at this year's fanime, but one way to obtain a free print or free sketch is to appear in the baau panel, a raffle ticket will be given to random lucky attendees =] it can be used to redeem prize later.
in the case of a free print, it will mostly likely be an 11X17 print, in the case of a sketch, it will be a free hand sketch not comparable to the details of a commission pencil drawing (I'm most lazy this year. XD

The problem about your drawings - everything is flat. Everything is so flat that one might think about this as a unique style. Well, I think adding some depth will definately make your art *much* cooler.

i think the biggest problem lies within my preference with choices of colors, and the fettish of wanting to show every part of the character, leading to bad shading and too much highlights everywhere.

These designs are generally awesome with a lot of attention to the details. I have a problem with all the cloth fabric on this one though. It all looks flat and fake, especially on the little bit of sleeve there is as well as the part sticking up out from the belt. it just seems very flat and 2-dimensional, not like something that the guy is actually wearing.

This guy is awesome. One nitpick, though: It seems like the angle of the plates on the back of his shoes don't match the shoes themselves. It's as if the feet are at an angle, but the armour bits are head on.

Wen, are you ever going to do a tutorial on how you get your colors to blend so nicely? That's one of the main things that has drawn me to your art style (being the colorist I am), and I have puzzled my puzzler till I couldn't puzzle no more (meaning I have actually given myself a migraine over it). Heck, doesn't even have to be a big, grandiose, end of the world style tutorials I've seen (I mean ones that are nearly 100 megs when ya try to look at the entire thing -.-').

Nice! I was attracted by the small thumbnail of this artwork. But rather disappointed by the lack of details when I see this in full view. Other than that, great job, you did really well with the metals.
