Your work is really amazing and I don't know if you'll actually ever read this, XD
But...
The pose is awkward. The way he's pulling and twisting his body isn't natural. I tend to try out poses to make sure my eyes aren't just fooling me but this one is actually off. His head is pulled really far forward bringing his chest in the same direction, but the sword arm is a little to straight and seems stiff. The direction of pull for his arm and his head, if you actually do this as shown, it hurts the neck and makes it hard to swallow; constriction is a sign of contortion. His legs are set too straight and ridged so they don't match the movement of his upper body, which is why he looks twisted funny. Also, the leg on the left, his right leg, is too long.
The impression I get is that it seems mid motion, I mean, it's between the build of power and the actual strike. It's basically just at the release of power and makes the strike seem a little weak.
So yeah, I hope that wasn't too long winded, but this is the only one I felt I really needed to comment on. : )

He gives off that badass, yet emo, Final Fantasy protagonist vibe. Nonetheless awesome though. I love the detail in your weapons most of all though. Great work.
