However, I do not draw them directly from their descriptions. I am using their myth as inspiration to design a modern character. Very often you might not see any link at all
, my mind travels far from the original idea sometimes.

The only thing I really find objectionable would definitely have to be the feathers.
It's Fenrir, the son of Loki, the wolf-god that will ultimately kill Odin at the Ragnorok!
Not a plumed bird. Not a peacock. A wolf-god.

The leather tooling on his coat is gorgeous & so intricate! I could see this brought to life, gracing a runway (or at least my back). I can see it now; you're gonna be one of those whose character designs everyone wants to cosplay, & they'll spend months tearing their hair out trying to do it justice!
