However, I do not draw them directly from their descriptions. I am using their myth as inspiration to design a modern character. Very often you might not see any link at all
, my mind travels far from the original idea sometimes.

I like him. He has feathers. You should do a feather/wing/fine detail tutorial. Hell, I know I'd use any tips you had to dish out. Do you draw in Pen first, or do you usually just do it all by comp?

nice very nice
i know fenrir if norse and was born from loki and his ugly wife (they had three kids)
but i like the human form thing b/c im sure no one would think of putting him into it b/c he was born a giant wolf
the only thing i would have to say is that fenrir is bound at Ragnarok
so he would be chained in some way

The art is wonderful, but for a Chaos God, he looks too calm and for a werewolf, not feral enough. I always pictured Fenris more muscular and snarling, sort of like Wolverine. I know, its called artistic license - who's to say what a god looks like anyway. I would also draw him with a collar and chain (or silk ribbon) since he's chained to a rock for eternity. Since you're not doing a commision for me, guess I'll have to draw it myself.
