That's smaller than mine! And you got that amount of detail in the lace? Dang! I've got some work to do...

XD It's... okay that it doesn't talk about shading, I just have a hard time figuring how to design lace. This is pretty nifty. Β

start simple, then work your way to more complicated stuff. also look at trims for clothes, they are a good starting study.Β

Yes, they can be but... Well... this kind of gave me an idea on how to keep some sort of symmetry when needed. Outlining before further detailing rather than looking back and forth trying to work outward. Not just with lace but in theory the same starting process sort of can be used for armor as well. Heck! All sorts of things. So... Yeah. I WILL THANK YOU FOR THE TUTORIAL! AND!... AND!... Er....... I'm bad at pretend raging. :<

But you should know.. ^.^ I found it very helpful. Thanks again for the inspiration.

I've wanted to draw lace for a while, so this is a great tutorial for me to use and study! By the way, is it supposed to say "Steo 7" at the last step?

I learned how to do lace while I was a cake decorator. You can come up with all sorts of tricks for doing it but it's nice to see how other people go about it

i have a question not related with this drawing, what was your first digital drawing board, was it hard to get used to?

because i cant get used to mine, is it because its a smaller version (i think its 30cm by 26cm). is it better to have a bigger one or a smaller one?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Wen-M In reply to Nova436 [2013-10-01 02:06:39 +0000 UTC]

You want a drawing tablet that doesnt make your wrist feel cramped, you want to make sure its a good space, because this is a very serious thing. i recommend 6X8 inches at least (not sure the cm....)

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Nova436 In reply to Wen-M [2013-10-01 09:33:01 +0000 UTC]

1 inch is about 2.5 cm mine has 9x11 TOTAL area the drawing part is about 2x3 inches

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Wen-M In reply to Nova436 [2013-10-01 18:47:46 +0000 UTC]

you want the drawing part to be about 15X20cm. the outside part doesnt count.Β
