For anyone using SAI, change the layer with the pattern's mode to "Overlay" instead of multiply

I'm having a hard time to fing out if it does, but...
Does it make the pattern follow the dress? I mean like if the dress bend, does the pattern does that too? Or if the dress as folds, ect, etc.

Yes
You can practice that by taking shirts, or any clothing you have that has a pattern really, and bending it so part of the pattern isn't shown, since it's between parts of the cloth.

Well, you pretty much remove part of the pattern, and move the part that would continue along with the fold
Does that make sense?

If that doesn't help, I suggest looking for more tutorials, or try looking at some clothing websites or even your own clothes for reference.
But in the end, it doesn't exactly matter if it's "correct" or not, as long as it looks like it is!
