I always thought it'd be interesting if you drew some magical projectile weaponry.

I was wondering, what size do you normally draw your weapon designs? Your detail is amazing, so I'd imagine they'd be pretty large?

they are pretty small...on paper, they are about 3 to 4 inches long

Wow, your control is amazing. I draw swords several inches longer and still can't achieve that precise detail.

well, if you draw them longer, it gets harder on your hand.
its really actually hard to draw straight lines. so when you draw it shorter, it looks more straight and is easier to work with. your wrist doesnt have to cover as big of an area, etc etc.
the trick is of course, getting a thin lined pen to accomodate those details within the small area.
