Spring is in the air
So i tried a new-ish style.. its basically a toned-down version of my original style. I like this alot more as it was funner and more enjoyable for me to do, so I might try to start improving on this style now. Anyways enjoy!! The snow has finally melted, warmer days are here and some small spring flowers are making their way through the greenery that is fresh grown from the spring sun. Elanor Vallieres has been spending all winter getting her first filly, Aurora, ready for her first show outing. As Elanor searched the web during her night netflix chill night and came across a few shows that she would be able to enter her filly in - until she came upon the Home Grown Show. Elanor thought this would be a perfect show to "take" Aurora to for her first time and jumped on the thought of getting Aurora all prettied up for her first show. Over the next few days Elanor made sure Aurora would be the picture perfect shiny pony everyone wants to see. They practised walking around and standing in different spots of their property, searching for the perfect spot to show her filly to the Home Grown Show judges.

When show day came, Elanor was too excited - she could barely wait to get out to the fields and catch her filly to prepare her for tonights outing. When the time came Elanor brought her filly into the stables and groomed her like she has never had before. "You've got to look your best, Aurora! Its your first outing - we need to make a good impression so everyone knows to watch out for you..." chuckled Elanor to her filly while she was putting elastic bands in her short and fine mane. When everything was said and done on the grooming aspect Elanor walked to her tack room with a smirk on her face. A few weeks ago she "accidentally" bought a new light oil with silver accents show halter for the show season. "This will look great on you." Elanor said as she walked out of the tackroom with her new halter to her filly. She smiled when she put the new halter on Aurora because her ears went up and she seemed to get bright eyed and bushy tailed... or maybe its because Elanor has treats in her pocket and Aurora knows if she acts cute Ellie is bound to give her one. (Like always). They made their way down the property to the back pastures to get set up for their first outing.

Elanor and Aurora arrived at their hard picked spot, just infront of the back pastures where you can see a bit of everything - the spruce tree forest, the distant mountains... lurking wildlife and lots of new sprouts and flowers are peaking through. It was the perfect time, the sun has just hid behind the distant mountains and was making a gorgeous orange-pink dusk colour. Elanor made Aurora stand infront of the fence and stood back... "Here goes to show my winters work..." thought Elanor as she stared at her 2yo filly, staring back at her with puppy eyes - its almost like she knows if she stands and looks cute she will win (a carrot in her eyes).
