ACTUALLY digimon was first thank you very much. pokemon was the ACTUAL ripoff, but just happened to land in north america first and became super popular that digimon was pushed aside when it hit north america because people thought it was a bad ripoff

Thanks. I used a different explosion for each icon, so each one would have it's own unique personality.

Just regular old Photoshop, but I was using brushes created by another deviant. I can't remember who I got them from, but they're called Explosion Fractals. You look around DA long enough, you'll find a decent amount of them.
