Description
Version 2The close of the Sinestro Corps War in Green Lantern #25 introduced a future with seven Lantern Corps, each with a different philosophy based on the emotional color they channel. Above are the seven symbols as I recreated them, plus the ominous eighth corps in the background.
Green: The Color of Willpower, and by extension, Life
Yellow: The Color of Fear
Blue: The Color of Hope
Red: The Color of Anger
Violet: The Color of Love
Indigo: The Color of Compassion
Orange: The Color of Avarice
Black: The Color of Death

Yeah, I know. I made this shortly after reading issue #25 [in which the coming of the seven corps was prophesied], and I realized afterward that I screwed up the colors. I later made a few revised versions of this, but even so, people keep faving this defective piece. Go figure, right? ^_^

The darkest night arc is going to be insane, I am so eager to find out how powerful the Black Lanterns are; and how the other colors are going to join forces.
As they say, black is the absence of color. If the all the other colors come together you get white, maybe white can destroy black.

Notice how the blue and yellow coprs logos look almost alike.

They're similar to each other because they're on opposite ends of the spectrum from each other. As do Orange and Indigo if you'll notice. Red and Violet, on the other hand, don't look much alike, but I guess that's what happens the further you get from the center.

No, Blue is for Hope, and that's the opposite of Fear on this list. Indigo is for Compassion, it's just not the opposite of Fear.

Awesome, I like how you arranged them around the Green Lantern logo. I imagine the black one is the one directly behind all the others. I know it's in Black Hand's logo. I'm actually pretty stoaked about it as well and I dont even like GL. I thought about writing my own take on it once. Maybe I will in the near future.

That's really cool. If I could join one of them I'd go with any of the following: Blue: The Color of Hope,
Red: The Color of Anger,
Violet: The Color of Love, or
Indigo: The Color of Compassion
The reason I would have red as a choice is just because I like red.

They're all homemade. It wasn't hard, they're very symmetrical and I'm good with Photoshop.

This is amazing! I loved the Sinestro Corp War. It's what threw me head first into Geoff Johns writing. And when i read the finale to the War i went nuts knowing that there would be more corps.
Any chance of getting this blown up to a larger size?

Green is not only the color of life and willpower, it acts as the balance to all the others because it is the middle color in the spectrum.
