Description
Version 2The close of the Sinestro Corps War in Green Lantern #25 introduced a future with seven Lantern Corps, each with a different philosophy based on the emotional color they channel. Above are the seven symbols as I recreated them, plus the ominous eighth corps in the background.
Green: The Color of Willpower, and by extension, Life
Yellow: The Color of Fear
Blue: The Color of Hope
Red: The Color of Anger
Violet: The Color of Love
Indigo: The Color of Compassion
Orange: The Color of Avarice
Black: The Color of Death

No, see, I made a mistake with this piece. Indigo is actually a bluish purple, not teal. I made a revised version of this after I realized that, but people keep faving this one more. Go figure.

That's the idea behind it. It goes like this:
Red=Rage
Orange=Greed
Yellow=Fear
Green=Willpower
Blue=Hope
Indigo=Compassion
Violet=Love
All this with black and white representing death and life, respectively.

It seems cute once you fully understand it. ^_^ My mom's fave color is red, and she's mad a lot. It matches the The Spectrum thing. My fave color is Blue and I always have a lot of hope in something.

Hate to say it but that means you switched the colors. Properly Indigo is between Blue and Purple, a particularly dark blue as a result.

I did notice that after the fact, that their color is more closely purple than blue. The problem is they're clashing a bit with the star sapphire in terms of color instead of blue lanterns.

Not real sure what you mean here, but I'd like to point out that the violet power battery and rings were forged out of the star sapphire gem.

Yes, I know that! There's no need to point it out at all! This is about the INDIGO Lanterns. I misunderstood what that color was supposed to be when I did this piece.
