I feel like everything has already been said. BlueSerenity's comment probably best describes this picture in my opinion, but really I'm just glad to a see a well drawn TT pic. Any reason for choosing these two characters for this work over others?

For one thing, I like the characters. They have a great dynamic, the bright-eyed alien visitor and the sarcastic goth girl playing off each other. And yet they can enjoy an [almost] quiet moment at sunset.
For another thing, they do look good from behind.

to a deep person it has a deep meaning, to a not deep person nothing comes to mind.
I prefer a more direct path to a paintings meaning as though the artist has his or her own opinion displayed so that the viewer can debate or agree.
