Was that a hint of like "The characters are my own ponyfications of Monte Cristo characters"? Well, kinda yeah, Derrator looks a lot like Danglarjacks, but mostly he was made from inspiration of Indiana Jones and Captain Jack Sparrow Also I added some things from my brother to his character after some time to make him more of a douchebag.
There kinda was a time before I met you when I came up with the stupidest idea of making this four as Monte Cristo characters, but then I decided to change them back into what they used to be before I discovered Ink Potts.

And I wanted to draw such wings to Heavyrain for a long time already, since he's not an actual alicorn and those wings are like prostheses that he made for himself. The only alicorn here is Ferret, although he can't fly at all.

Interesting, now I know more about your OC's, thank you Don't worry, the prosthesis on Heavyrain looks really cool, I was just surprised that he had one since you always drew him with normal wings until now. I'm glad that your alicorn-OC's aren't overpowered though, like most alicorn-OC's.
I think the Monte Cristo-roles would actually work pretty well for most of them: Derrator as Danglars, Way as Villefort and Ferret as Mondego with Heavyrain as the Count? Or maybe Heavyrain as Mondego and Ferret as Edmond? Kinda difficult to pinpoint those last two ^^

If to think about them as Monte Cristo characters;
Derrator could go with the role of Danglars, although due to his very rude character and cruel behavior he wouldn't "stand on ceremony" of writing a accusation and probably just shoot Edmond with his revolver... He is smart, but he can't stand waiting and slow actions, also he doesn't care about money as long as he can buy cider for himself.

Way would hardly fit as Villefort since he just won't be able to complete the job of a prosecutor. He is a cutie that is too shy to talk to strangers and even the most simple things make him blush, and make him very shy and uncomfortable. It would be too cute and hilarious to see how badly he's doing the job of a prosecutor.

Ferret is a half-emo douchebag, which always overreacts and hates literally everything in the world and he doesn't care about almost a thing... Except for Drawin which is his best friend from childhood and chocolate, because he loves chocolate. He probably could fit as Mondego... But if he would be in Mondego's situation he would probably just stab Edmond or scream at him that "Why the heck are you talking with my Mercedes?!"... Or just call him on a duel and then cheat to win...

Heavyrain could go as Monte Cristo pretty well, since he's wise, smart and he pretty much have his reasons to dislike both Ferret and Derrator. I can agree with that. But I surely could't make Heavyrain as Mondego, because Heavy is neither a coward, nor a liar.
