Well, I finally finished the first page of the MLP comic that is dedicated to the novel 'The count of Monte Cristo' and InkPotts animatics.
Just like the novel my comics starts at the moment when ship called 'Pharaon' returns to Marseilles and yes, in the novel Edmond Dantes (Edmond Dashe) do not appears on the first page
I changed the names of the towns and the year from like it was in the book.
815 years after Luna's banishment - year 1815.
Smarena = Smyrna,
Celeste = Trieste,
Naponies = Naples.
Now, to the question: How does Spitfire connected to 'The Pony of Monte Cristo'?
Answer: Me and my friend, we both decided to give Spitfire the role of Pierre Morrel: Dantes's employer. The book starts on him like my comics started.
I was thinking, before drawing the cover to this comics and drawing the second page I wanted to know your opinion in the comments.
SPOILERS: You will see Edmond Dashie on page 2.
The reason why I uploaded the first page and I still didn't do the cover is: I have no idea what cover to make, so enjoy this comic without a cover!

I was reading the book today, got past Chapter 6. Decided to read the comic again.
Anyway, I'm quite excited to see what characters will get what roles further on in the comic.

(You assume correctly) I dunno, I was just thinking about some characters I'd read about recently. Like Renee, I like her, she has a good sense about her. I actually finished reading Chapter 8 today, so Dantes is in the Chatue Dif…poor guy. Can't wait to read about Faria! Although, speaking of Faria, I realized something about Ink Potts and the other fan characters based on the story. In both musicals so far…Pinkie is a character who dies…

Sadly I won't make the chapter where Renee appears, since there is no point. Spoiler alert -> She won't appear anywhere in the novel after Villefort's engagement feast, so I think there is no point of making a character out of her.
So, sorry, there will be no Renee..
I'm planning to erase Villefort's engagement feast chapter and move right to the interrogation.
And about Faria... Well, yeah.. That's kinda sad..

Scootaloo in the comic is officially took the role of Viscount Albert de Morcerf.
The pirate Capitan is still in progress,
