PART 2--> [link]Haha, ok, watched the new Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword trailer and thought...1) It looks AWESOME, and 2) I had to make a joke about it! It looked really cool when Link jumped off the cliff into the sky, but it also reminded me of Link (TP) shooting off into the sky in the cannon.
Sorry about the poor coloring and background job, just wanted to get the comic out quickly! (and I suck at backgrounds...)
Oh, and for Midna's comment, I happen to think that diving off the cliff takes more courage than being shot up onto it
Legend of Zelda belongs to Nintendo, etc.

I wish I was Link. The only human (TP terminology) that can fall from any height to any potentially fatal substance (spikes, lava, etc.) and the only repercussion being waking up in a daze from the last doorway entered from. He's the type of guy that can't commit suicide or die, whether he wants to or not, except from old age.

But getting SHOT down with a cannon might be even more courageous.
Seriously. You could can potentially make it to land. Realistically you could wind up with a serious wound ( Body slam + water + Velocity from cannon and height = Your gonna need more then 4 bottle worth of fairies )

They did in TP (well, at least ooccoos did), who knows, maybe they will in SS
actually my theory on the new game is that it comes before TP in the timeline, and the ruins of the sky temple are actually the ruins from the land in SS (skyloft, I think they called it)
but that's just my guess
