Well... looking through your art, I have a couple tips for you.
Don't stay stuck in MS Paint (or whatever you use) with only straight lines and colour fill
When you fill out a meme, don't just write the answers; draw them.
Look at work that you love and trace it (not to post online, but to see how they do what they do. It's a learning exercise, and so you use it so that you can see what you like. Don't get stuck tracing)
Draw. Always draw, even when you don't feel like it.
Take an art class or hang out with other artists, see what they can teach you.
Your art will be as good as how much time you put into it, so never give up!

1. Yeah, I use MS Paint. Gimp is so confusing!! I only use it for minor stuff.
2. I try to draw everything, but I don't know how to draw the stuff.
3. I'll try that when I'm less lazy
4. I WILL! When I get off the computer.

Have you tried FireAlpaca? That's another one I've heard of. Tutorials can help, and a lot of it is just practicing. MS Paint just isn't good enough, and the other programs can be quite effective, and they're free.
Draw from life. I know there's a fad that people don't want to use reference, but it is one of the best things possible to do. As an artist, drawing from life also helps you to 'see' in a way you haven't before. It's quite amazing. I love looking at things from an artistic perspective, and I never cease to be amazed.
Lazy? Pah! Bad excuse.
Do it! Doitdoitdoit!

1. Maybe. is it free?
2. I like cartoony stuff better (unless I'm completely misunderstanding everything you're saying). I have wanted to do Harry Potter and Animorphs stuff, but I haven't found an awesome cartoon technique thing yet.
3. Half my laziness today is because I have a cold (I feel like I'm gonna die). Also, I'm a kid, so I'm naturally part lazy.
4. I forgot what it was that you're saying Do it to.

Wheatart In reply to puglover3000 [2013-07-28 00:11:47 +0000 UTC]
It is indeed free.
The best cartoon artists have a study in reality. By all means, study the cartoons, but don't abandon the realistic art just because it's not the style you like. When you better understand reality and the rules it follows, you are more capable of breaking the rules in a way that looks artistically appealing.
Here's a fantastic tutorial on style: fav.me/d2t0eyn fav.me/d2t0f1a
And one on recognizing face shapes: fav.me/d4da7rr
So don't get stuck in just one area. You'll only learn by experimenting.
Haha, when my sister is sick, she'll actually play DDR really hard in an attempt to sweat it off. But I understand not wanting to do anything. So I think I'm gonnna actually push myself to be productive today, heh.
I was saying do lots of art!

Well... to the right side of your deviation, there is a section that says 'link' right above a section that says 'thumb'. If you select the link, you can copy it (with right clicking, or control/command c) and then paste (by right clicking, or control/command v). It's not too hard.

This is awesome <3
1. Andalite ;3
2. Leopard
3. Squirrel (they may look fuzzy, but I've been bitten at least five times by various squirrels we raised. Their bites hurt a lot XD)
4. Impala
5. Blue shark
6. Harpy eagle
7. Egyptian Mau cat
8. Mangled DNA experiment
9. Tree hugger
10. omg they are squishy *pets one*
11. Jurassic park! :3
12. David c;
13. Andalite, of course x3
14. noooo! XD

On question 1: You do know that Andalites need to use the cube too, right?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Wheatart In reply to Novanplz [2012-11-11 06:10:46 +0000 UTC]
Well, yes. But would you be morphing back into an andalite or human at the end of the day?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Novanplz In reply to Wheatart [2012-11-11 06:41:34 +0000 UTC]
Then you might want to say: Andalite or human?
👍: 0 ⏩: 0
PonchoFirewalker01 [2012-09-29 16:04:44 +0000 UTC]
1. I would need an andalite to teach how to work on the morphing deal.
2. African male lion
3. a tabby cat
4. pronghorn antelope
5. saltwater crocodile
6. Golden Eagle and Turkey Vulture
7. All the above and so much more (along with the Hork-Bajir)
8. You kidding? When I first morphed, I was in front of a mirror, I thought I was looking in a old horror movie.
9. Abit of a comedian, but mostly a big animal nut.
10. Stay calm and look at the situation more throughly.
11. The Age of the Dinosaurs
12. Cassie, the moral tree hugger, and Ax, the clueless alien.
13. Hork-Bajir. They may've been primitive, but they are still so fascinating
14. Not sure, not sure if I would be morally right to give the burden of a yeerk-fighter to someone else.

1) However much I wish I COULD BE one, the identity of an Andalite is out of my reach.
2) Eotyrannus. It is a T-rex built and sized like a Velociraptor and maybe one of the few dinosaurs from my native Ireland.
3) Japanese Giant Wasp. A good philosophy is to be ready for a fight whenever and however and if you ask the Empire of the Rising Sun these thumb-sized devils are some mean suckers.
4) The same as #2. The thing could match a Pronghorn in distance running and a Cheetah in flat-out explosion.
5) Ichthyosaur. As poised and dynamic as a dolphin and made tough by a Jurassic world, it fought back against sharks, crocs, and sea monsters the way a dolphin only wishes it could.
6) Pterodactylus. Not one of the larger models like Pteranodon & Quetzalcoatlus, but the ones that could turn on a dime in and snatch a dragonfly out of the air.
7) Again, the McRex makes it on this list again. What can I say? It's fast, lethal, as potent as a big cat, and cunning enough to match the smartest animals (whales, parrots, dogs, primates, elephants), not to mention mankind.
8) A morph dancer would be an honor, but not everybody can be that blessed. But I DO love and understand animals. Maybe THAT is how Cassie had such a skill?
9) A strange mix of Leader, Emo & Tree Hugger. If anything a personality like Strider from LOTR seems the most up my alley.
10) Leave a note of good-bye, stock up on supplies, wait for the Andalites to come, and go Bruce-Wayne-vigilante on that empire!
11) The Jungle Book. Narnia, LOTR, and Animorphs come together in something of a perfect union.
12) It's probably cheating, but how can I choose?
- Ellimist, Crayak, Elfangor, Dak Hamee, Alloran
13) Ellimist (Ketran)
Wonderful questions, mate!

The question is, how would you get access to Dino DNA? It's all dead.
OH MAN. I've seen the Giant Wasps, and they are TERRIFYING. Blaaaaagh.
Thanks for answering the questions!

TiarnanDominusAdonai In reply to Wheatart [2012-09-08 21:56:06 +0000 UTC]
We were only asked what morphs would do. Besides, who said it had to be an authentic DNA specimen? Ax mixed pieces of J,R,C,M. Is it so far out to say that something dino-like couldn't be concocted?
Example: crocodile + red jungle cock + hawk + human = pseuduosaurus rex.
Besides, there is always the chance of a Sario Rip. I don't care if the six don't have those morphs anymore. Technically it should still work.
