That place decorated my dreams for a while, and Scottish accents still get me weak-kneed as a young woman as they did as a teenager, i.e. how old I was when this film came out.

Thanks! This is mostly done with a 3d modeling program called Poser. Some things like the fog were painted in with Photoshop.

Yeah, the clothing held me back a little on this one. I need to do more work with Photoshop and stop relying on the models so much. He should not have been as bulky. Thanks for the fav, though!

It's work done on the picture once it's rendered. That's how the fog was done in the pic, and the two beams of light in the background. Also allows you to touch up errors and add details like better hair.
See my pic of Wolverine in the gallery. It started with a model, but the whiskers I painted and I rearranged the hair. Also did the texture of the shirt and moved a strap closer to the body. Lots of times pictures are half poser and half photoshop.

Not bad. The face and head look good as does the scene. His body is a little on the strange side though, almost chunky. The texture on the suit also leaves a lot to be desired, but the cape looks nice.
Good job. Makes me wish I made a body for my Phantom bust.

I didn't do much with the model's body in the picture, guess I got lazy there. I keep thinking of Gerry as larger since he was so muscled up last time him in 300. I would have liked the tux to fit better and slimmer through the legs too.
I like your more Michael Crawford-esqe models. He really brought an unmistakable style to the Phantom. Wish I could have seen him in the role. Only saw a few small clips. Such passion!

Hehe. Thanks. You have a good thing going too, just slim him down a bit. I know he was played by buff ol' Gerry, but the Phantom is meant to be on the trim side.
And yes, MC was one of a kind as Phantom. I wish I could have seen him live too.
