Description
This photo was taken for Melbourne based art journal and website Litmusphere.com, for a photography article titled 'Falling'. I wanted to incorporate child-like elements so I went with the fairy-tale idea of flying with balloons, and imagined what it would feel like to be metres in the air and losing the grasp on your 'safety-net', causing you to fall not knowing whether this will be your end.Related content

I love this! The concept is interesting and the colours are vibrant.
Although I think I disagree with WizzerOfOz. The lines are a bit distracting and they take away from the innocence of the photo.
Otherwise it's a fantastic piece

nice shot - but I do agree with some of your other comments - looks like she is releasing balloons and the power lines clutter it up a little for me, a little bit of better planning when setting up the photo would have meant a much easier on the eye result!!
Well done though - I like it!!

i think she doesnt really look like shes flying but more like she is freeing the ballons. great use of silouhette and contrast here with the red balloon against white and blue!

Thanks for the feedback. I see what you mean, and I agree, the other shot definitely does have more feeling in it, just not the kind of feeling I was wanting. HYence why I chose this to submit. great series. it's tough shooting out side in australia. the telephone lines make it a great composition, but i don't know what that means for the concept.

Thanks. The power lines don't really mean anything, they just happened to be in the shot at the time! But yeah I agree, it makes the composition a bit better
