Description
Charcoal and white chalk based on this reference photo [link] byI think this will grow up into a painting. Given how slow I am I thought I'd better post this now just in case the painting never gets done or I screw it up.

Thank you. Most of the credit for this has to go to faestock. I just pushed some charcoal around. It was a truly lovely pose that I just couldn't resist.

Thank you so much. A lot of the gentleness you're seeing has to do with subject matter. That leads to the question does style lead to subject or does subject determine style? Or maybe it's just a matter of edge control. At any rate I try to do what the image calls for.
