Also drawn last June, also from the 'Zenomallow' universe, and if you're just around for my DS stuff,,, you might?? Remember some weird crossover doodles involving this bean.And yes, the hat is sentient, his name is Patrick and he will get into all of your accessories >:3

Ahaha, a most excellent question! He made and enchanted it himself as a magic school graduation/final type project! (His perception of size is kinda goofed, he regularly makes things too big by accident...) He has a particular talent for animation/"life"-like magic... he'd make a heck of a necromancer, if he was morally corrupted enough--

Ah, kind of both, depending on how much magic he gives it! But an artificially given 'soul' won't ever equate to a real soul, (unless he really dips into some dark magic there). Patrick is his most complex creation in that regard, because it actually has (albeit somewhat simple) personality and free will. It's a noteworthy (if eccentric) accomplishment!

Ooooo, what a great question! I know there are other mages out there, but I haven't really made any of them into characters, so I'm not sure! Regarding wizards and magic users, probably most of his peers would find it very interesting and theoretically impressive, but a waste of talent in practice. Any competitors would be glad Perry isn't more ambitious/threatening, haha! But most of the people he actually spends time with (he lives in a rural area) regard Patrick almost like any other humorous, slightly troublesome pet... and just kind of normal!Β
Strangers (as you might guess) are largely just taken aback by the ridiculous size--and have to double-take when it moves!Β

Hmm, probably not anything much-perhaps a handkerchief or two! Mostly just head-pats, haha! (It would be so cute if someone made him a hat, tho :0 like, just a kid folding one out of paper, eee)
Ah, some local mage-ing, wards to keep the flocks safe or whatever, but he also has a steady stream of customers from the kinda-nearby elven capital--it's a hike, and not cheap, but his best business. Largely regulars coming in for potion refills, who know him personally from when he lived there (or friends-of-friends, on down the line.) :> Mostly healing stuff, but it's a mix.
He can also deliver, but that would be rare, only for urgent circumstances.
