Description
Finally! The finished product! This took me WAY longer than I wanted, but oh well.
And my shading still sucks bawlz, but hey, that's what practice is for.
Yup, here's the first-ever piece of art made by me showing Lupin the 4th, AKA Wolf.
Now to explain the whole "My Two Dads" thing.
He's the son of Lupin the 3rd (obviously), but he was raised by Inspector Zenigata.
There's a whole long story behind it, but the short version is that Lupin let Pops finally put him away so that his son could have a decent upbringing that didn't involve always running away from people and jumping into life-threatening situations.
As a result, having fulfilled his life's mission, Zenigata retires from policework and dedicates all his time to raising the little Lupin, his new life mission being to make absolutely sure that Lupin the 4th doesn't follow the same criminal path that Lupin the 3rd took.
Wolf looks up to both of his fathers, and in fact regards them as two of his three heroes. (the third of which being James Bond)
He's proud of his family's heritage, admiring his biological father for his plethora of skills and superhuman cunning.
But he doesn't like the attention he gets from his father's notoriety, which is why he goes by the nickname "Wolf" instead of his real name: "Lupin"
Being raised by a cop, he obviously doesn't follow in his father's footsteps in becoming a thief.
He instead pursues the path of the secret agent.
His logic being that by doing this, he could still be just like his father, but without actually breaking the law. Anything he DOES steal he steals under the orders of the United States Government. So it's perfectly legal. XD
As far as Wolf's look, I pretty much gave him Lupin's look with bits of Fujiko. (i.e. her wings and horns)
I gave him floofy sideburns so he could be a little bit more distinguishable from Lupin.
I actually considered using the hairstyle I gave his puppet form in my Nuzlocke comic, but decided against it because I thought it would be too much.
So he pretty much has his dad's hair, but with poofy sideburns.
The gun I totally and completely cheated on because the original sketch of it came out looking like crap and nothing like the gun I was referencing. (that being a Walther PPK, aka the gun that James Bond uses, lol)
So I downloaded one of the reference photos I'd googled up and traced it.
I'm actually a little bit ashamed of that fact, but at least I made the attempt at actually drawing it before resorting to tracing.
On the upside, everything else was all freehand.
The coloring of Wolf's suit (for those of you who don't closely follow the Lupin fandom) is a color scheme that was used in a special edition one-time Lupin the 3rd figurine.
It was never actually used in any series, movie, or special, so I thought it would be fitting to give this outfit to Wolf.
And yes, there is a fanfic in the works that tells his story in full detail.
Much of this description was just to explain who this character is and where he came from.
Of course, this all takes place within the universe of Gold Demona, and in fact takes place several years after the events of the main fic.
In fact, the clan of the main fic is already in the process of raising their second clutch of eggs by the time Wolf's story gets started.
But that's enough of that. I'm starting to babble.

Interesting spin on Lupin the Fourth. I like the idea of Zenigata raising him.
But the interesting question: Who's the mother?
I've got my own spin on Lupin IV though, and as much as I liked the idea of ol' Pop's taking care of the little thief, I like it better that the new Lupin can make her mark on the world with her own unique crew.
Yeah, I said "her", that's not a typo. For some reason I see Lupin the Third having a daughter more than having a son-I have no idea why though.

There's a very brief and easy-to-miss implication in the description, but Wolf's mother is in fact Fujiko.

LOL, that's pretty funny! XD
My brain went to an extremely obscure sitcom which was also titled "My Two Dads".
But that's really funny, too. XD

I think it looks really neat. XD And I like your idea, very interesting. I don't follow the fandom but I doooo love Lupin the III and Gargoyles. XD And guns are very hard to draw so don't beat yourself up too much. Maybe someday you can go back and try again.

Go back as in draw this particular picture again? Lol, I think not. XD
I never do redraws of completed works. XP
It's possible I may draw Wolf again someday with his gun drawn, and that's likely when I'll make another attempt at drawing the gun myself.

PFFT, well, like I said, if I ever draw this gun again, it'll be in a completely different image. XP
So... Yeah! Guns!

Does the fic explain why they have become gargoyles or did you just draw them that way for fun?
Just curious.

Huh? ...I have no idea what you mean.
What do you mean by "become gargoyles"? O_o
My fic is a Gargoyles crossover fic.
Anyone who appears as a gargoyle IS a gargoyle.
No "becoming" involved.
