Just a few pencil studies of Colin Morgan, who plays Merlin on BBC. He just has such an interesting face, with those ridiculous ears and cheekbones, ha... I can't stop drawing him... Expect more? >_>'(References used, and some colour added in Photoshop.)

I was just looking for a reference for a certain type of nose and I breezed right past this but I had to click the previous button because I knew it was him. my mom is completely obsessed with this show. Had to comment because I was like, "Oh, my gosh! That's Merlin!" Very good drawing.

Yes. Yes, this is true. His face is awesome. The four main characters all have really good faces to study. For instance, Bradley James' eyebrows... Not sure why. Ha.

I especially love the 3|4 front one because of the softness that comes out from it (or maybe the wonderfully made lips too)

Oh thank you! Yes, he has such lovely, awkward features... challenging, but fun to draw. I'm working on stylizing him a bit, too, now. He's my new muse, lol!
